Men's Indoor Track and Field Competes at the Third Jud Logan Light Giver Open

ASHLAND, Ohio - The Baldwin Wallace University men's indoor track and field team competed at the Third Jud Logan Light Giver Open hosted by Ashland University. The meet was unscored.

The Yellow Jackets individual events highlights included:

  • Freshman Dillon Hach (Medina) placed first in the 800-meter run in a time of 1:54.86. Hach broke a 27 year-old BW indoor record from 1997 that was originally set by Kris Boey '98.

Field event highlights:

  • Junior All-Ohio Athletic Conference high jumper Christian Pfeiffer (Amherst) won the high jump with a distance of 2.10 meters. Pfeiffer's high jump breaks the BW indoor record and ties him for first in the nation.
  • Junior Kaleu Tellas (Indianapolis, Ind. / International School of Indiana) finished eighth in the shot put with a distance of 14.37 meters

On the relay side:

  • In the distance medley relay crew, Hach, junior Gehrig Stanley (Twinsburg / Benedictine), sophomore Sam Sikorski (Columbia Station / Columbia), and freshman Wesley Noeth (Powell / Olentangy Liberty) finished 11th in a time of 10:12.74

The Yellow Jackets are back in action on Friday, Feb. 9 at 4 p.m. as they host the Mid-February Meet on the Harrison Dillard Track inside the Lou Higgins Center Fieldhouse.
