McGee Awarded Second Career OAC Men's Tennis Player of the Week Honor

WESTERVILLE, Ohio - Baldwin Wallace University sophomore All-Ohio Athletic Conference player Matt McGee (Ottawa Hills) has been named the OAC Men's Tennis Player of the Week for the second time this season and in his career.

McGee earns this weekly honor after helping defeat Marietta College with a clean 9-0 sweep and continued their undefeated 13-0 season. McGee defeated his single's opponent 6-0, 6-2. In doubles, McGee teamed up with teammate senior All-OAC player Trey Kernan (Penfield N.Y.) to defeated the Pioneers, 8-4. 

On the season, McGee is 11-1 in both singles and doubles.

For his career, McGee has a record of 24-6 in singles play and a mark of 26-5 in doubles action.

BW (13-0) returns to action on Wednesday, April 12, when they travel to Alliance to face Mount Union on Whitehill Courts at 3:30 p.m.
