Four Men's Tennis Athletes Awarded to All-OAC Team

WESTERVILLE, Ohio – Four Baldwin Wallace University men's tennis athletes were selected to the All-Ohio Conference team as voted on by coaches in the league.

Freshman Will Horvath (Oregon / Clay) and sophomore All-OAC Matt McGee (Ottawa Hills) were selected to the first team. Senior All-OAC Trey Kernan (Penfield, N.Y.) and sophomore Adam Zeidler (Bay Village) earned honorable mention honors.

McGee, who earns his second honor, was second on the team with 14 singles victories and 16 doubles wins. In two seasons, McGee has recorded 27 singles victories and 31 doubles wins. He is a two-time All-OAC first-team selection. Off the court, McGee carries a 3.52 grade point average in engineering. He is a Jacket Scholar and Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) Scholar Athlete. 

Horvath, who recieves his first accolade, led the team with 16 singles and nine doubles wins. He is an All-OAC first-team selection. Off the court, Horvath carries a 3.70 grade point average in engineering.

Kernan, who earns his second honor, had 10 singles and 16 doubles wins. He is a two-time All-OAC selection. Off the court, Kernan carries a 3.48 grade point average in sport management. He is an Academic All-Ohio Athletic Conference selection and a two time Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) Scholar Athlete. 

Zeidler, who's awarded his first accloade, had 11 singles and nine doubles wins. He is an All-OAC honorable mention. Off the court, Zeidler carries a 3.48 grade point average in Music Performance - Voice. He is the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) Scholar Athlete

The Yellow Jackets finished the 2022-23 season with an overall record of 16-4 and a record of 3-3 in the OAC. BW advanced to the OAC Tournament semifinals.
