Men's Lacrosse Streaks Past Comets, Advances to Fourth Straight OAC Championship

BEREA, Ohio – The second-seeded Baldwin Wallace University men's lacrosse team faced third-seeded Capital University for its Ohio Athletic Conference Tournament semifinal game on the Tressel Field inside of the George Finnie Stadium. The Yellow Jackets defeated the Comets by a 16-13 final score.

With 66 career games played, senior All-OAC attack/midfielder Jake Nanosky (Medina) has broken the BW all-time games played record. Nanosky surpassed the previous record of 65 games that was tied by two student-athletes.

BW (10-6, 9-1 OAC) was led by freshman attack/midfielder Noah Dodgion (Hilliard / Hilliard Davidson) and sophomore All-OAC attack/midfielder Bennet Trout (Pickerington / North) as they each racked up four goals.

Capital was led by senior attack Jake Belt as he totaled four goals and a ground ball.

The second-seeded Yellow Jackets are back in action on Saturday, May 4 for the OAC Tournament Championship in a road matchup against top-seeded John Carroll University. The game will begin at 5 p.m. inside of Don Shula Stadium.
