Men’s Golf Finishes 12 at Dan Cashera Classic

CHARDON, Ohio – The Baldwin Wallace University Men's Golf team finished in 12th place at the Dan Cashera Classic hosted by John Carroll University at the Sand Ridge Golf Club.

BW was 12 of 12 teams with a two-round total of 698 strokes on the par-72 and 6,698 Sand Ridge layout. Kenyon College was the champion with 600 strokes.

  • Junior Logan Cook (Berea/Berea-Midpark) shot rounds of 89 and 84 for a two-round total of 173
  • Junior Academic All-OAC Christian Miller (North Lawrence/Tuslaw) carded rounds of 93 and 81 for a two-day total of 174
  • Senior Academic All-OAC Ryan Green (Conneaut/Edgewood) posted rounds of 95 and 81 for a two-round total of 176
  • Freshman CJ Goodrich (Chardon) tallied rounds of 94 and 85 for a two-day total of 179
  • Freshman Hunter Shrefler (Middleburg Heights/Berea-Midpark) had rounds of 91 and 95 for a two-round total of 186

The Yellow Jackets are back in action on Friday, Saturday and Sunday, April 26, 27 and 28 when they travel to West Lafayette to compete in the OAC Championships hosted by Muskingum University at the River Greens Golf Course.
