Bratsch Medalist; Men's Golf Wins Hosted BW Spring Invitational

HINCKLEY, Ohio - Senior All-Ohio Athletic Conference and Academic All-OAC selection Logan Bratsch (Olmsted Falls) won the BW Spring Invitational as the Baldwin Wallace University men's golf capture the first win of the season as they teed off at Pine Hills Golf Club.

BW finished first out of five teams with 317 strokes on the par 72 course. 

The top five leading BW: 

  • Bratsch lead the team to the victory by shooting under par with a round of 69
  • Senior Academic All-Ohio Athletic Conference selection Henry Neumann (Broadview Heights / Padua Franciscan) tied for sixth with a round of 78 
  • Junior Christian Miller (North Lawrence / Tuslaw) tied for 12th and tallied a round of 82
  • Junior All-OAC Ryan Green (Conneaut / Edgewood) tied for 23rd place by playing a round of 88 
  • Junior Alex Baker (Pittsburgh / North Hills) tied for 25th place with a round of 89
 Playing as individuals: 
  • Sophomore Logan Cook (Berea / Berea-Midpark) tied 12th with a round of 82
  • Junior Trevor Mackey (Brunswick) tied for 23rd place and tallied a round of 93 
  • Freshman Brandon Eddy placed 31st and shot a roun dof 94
  • Freshman Zach Hritz (Columbia Station / Columbia) placed 32nd and finished the day carding a round of 96

BW is back in action on Friday, April 28 as it travels to West Lafayette to compete in the three-day OAC Championships hosted by Muskingum University at the River Greens Golf Course.
