Men's Golf Applauds Five Senior Student-Athletes

BEREA, Ohio -The Baldwin Wallace University Athletic Department and men's golf program would like to congratulate senior student-athletes Logan BratschHenry Neumann, Connor ThomasWill Scurci, and Mike Douzos on completing their outstanding athletic careers at the University.

The University administration, faculty and staff congratulates these four young men on their outstanding athletic and academic careers as well as their leadership to the men's golf program. The University would like to wish each of them all the best of luck in their future endeavors and hope that even after graduation that they come back and visit us often. They will always be a Yellow Jacket for Life (YJ4L).

Bratsch is a pre-physical therapy and pre-allied health major from Olmsted Falls, Ohio and a graduate of Olmsted Falls High School. He earned his third varsity letter this past season. In his career, Bratsch has played in 35 invitationals and 59 rounds. He has a career stroke average of 77.78. He earned co-medalist honors at the Gatorade Collegiate Classic, named Ohio Athletic Conference Co-Men's Golfer of the Week, medalist at Rumble at Tuscarawas River and earned All-Ohio Athletic Conference honors with a fourth place tie at OAC Championships. He shot a career-low round of 69 at OAC Championships on May 1, 2022. He is a dean's list student, Jacket Scholar and a member of Chi Alpha Sigma Honors Society. Bratsch is the son of Tracy and Shane Bratsch of Olmsted Falls. 

 

 

 

Neumann is a finance major from Broadview Heights, Ohio and a graduate of Padua Franciscan High School. He earned his second varsity letter this past season. In his career, Neumann has played in 18 invitationals and 32 rounds. He was also a member of the BW baseball team. He has a career stroke average of 79.33. He earned academic All-OAC. He shot a career-low round of 73 at OAC Championships on May 1, 2022. He is a member of Chi Alpha Sigma Honors Society. Neumann is the son of Krissy and Dave Neumann. 

 

 

 

 

 

Thomas is an engineering major from Medina, Ohio and a graduate of Buckeye High School. He earned his second varsity letter this past season. In his career, Thomas has played in 16 invitationals and 14.5 rounds. He has a career stroke average of 80.90. He shot a career-low round of 77 on two occasions with the last coming at the Mount Union Fall Invitational. Thomas is the son of Deanne Thomas of Medina. 

 

 

 

 

Scurci is business administration and finance double major from Mars, Pa. and a graduate of Mars Area High School. He will earn his first varsity letter. In his career, Scurci has played in 8 invitationals and 11 rounds. He was also a member of the BW men's lacrosse team. He has a career stroke average of 89.36. He shot a career-low round of 69 at the Gatorade Collegiate on September 5, 2021. Scurci is the son of Susan and Bill Scurci. 

 

 

 

 

Douzos is business administration major from Amherst, Ohio and a graduate of Firelands High School. He will earn his second varsity letter. In his career, Douzos has played in 10 invitationals and 13 rounds. He was also a member of the BW men's soccer team. He has a career stroke average of 99.65. He shot a career-low of 80. Douzos is the son of Louis and Melanie Douzos.
