BEREA, OHIO -- Baldwin Wallace University sophomore Adam Sanders (Fairview Park/Fairview) has been named as Ohio Athletic Conference men's golfer of the week for the week of March 21-27, 2013.

Sanders earned his first OAC Player of the Week honor by virtue of shooting rounds of a career-low 69 on Friday, March 22 and 77 on Saturday, March 23 for a 146-stroke total to earn medalist honors at the Capital University Purple & White Invitational Tournament. The tourney was played on the par-72 and 6,859-yard Royal American Links layout in Galena, Ohio. It is Sanders' first collegiate medalist honor.

Sanders currently leads the Yellow Jackets in stroke average at 74.67 strokes for two tournaments and three rounds of 18 holes.

The Yellow Jacket men are back in action on April 6-7 when they travel to Zanesville to compete at the Muskingum University Spring Invitational Tournament.
