DEFIANCE, OHIO--   The Baldwin Wallace University men's golf team began play today (Saturday, September 22, 2012) at the Defiance College Fall Invitational Tournament at the Eagle Rock Golf Club, but did not complete the round due to inclement weather and the tournament was cancelled.

To date, BW has played in two fall events and have two left in their fall non-traditional schedule. Senior All-Ohio Athletic Conference number-one player Stephen Spalding (Stow/ Walsh Jesuit) tops the squad with a 75.33-stroke average.

The Yellow Jackets will be back in action on Sunday, Sept. 30 and Monday, October 1 when they travel to Alliance to participate in the University of Mount Union Fall Invitational at the Tannenhauf Golf Course. The BW men end the non-traditional fall season on Oct. 6-7 at the Wittenberg University Rosecrans-Maurer Fall Invitational Tournament at the Windy Knoll Golf Course in Springfield.

The traditional spring season begins in March when BW travels south on its annual Spring Break Trip.
