Men’s Team Finishes Sixth at 2012 OAC Tourney

WEST LAFAYETTE, OHIO – The Baldwin-Wallace College men's golf team carded a final round of 312 strokes today (Sunday, April 29) to finish sixth after three days and 72 holes at the 2012 Ohio Athletic Conference Championship Tournament at the River Greens Golf Course.

The Yellow Jackets carded rounds of 317 on Friday, 314 and 310 on Saturday and 312 today to compile 1,253 total strokes on the par-72 and 6,600-yard River Greens G.C. layout.  

In terms of team play for the Yellow Jackets (five golfers make up a team with the top four scores counting toward the team total), junior Stephen Spalding (Stow/ Walsh Jesuit) leads the way and has carded rounds of 81-71-76-73 for a 72-hole total of 228 strokes. He is followed by senior Matt Warren (Copley) with rounds of 78-80-80-77 for a total of 315 strokes, senior Ricky Jaskolski (North Royalton/ Parma Padua Fransiscan) with rounds of 79-78-76-83 for a 316 total, sophomore Augie Ward (Medina/ Walsh Jesuit) with rounds of 79-85-81-81 for a total of 326 strokes and freshman Adam Sanders (Fairview Park/ Fairview) with rounds of 88-87-78-81 for a total of 334 strokes.
