Men’s Team Competes on First Day of Muskingum Invitational

SPRINGFIELD, OHIO --  The Baldwin-Wallace College men's golf team competed today (Saturday, October 1, 2011) on the first day of the Rosencrans-Maurer Invitational hosted by Wittenberg University at the Windy Knoll Golf Club.

B-W totalled 308 strokes on the par-72 and 6,834-yard Windy Knoll G.C. layout.

For the Yellow Jackets, senior Ricky Jaskloski (North Royalton/Padua Franciscan) shot the low round of the day for B-W as he carded a 77. Following was the duo of junior Stephen Spalding (Stow/ Walsh Jesuit) and sophomore Chris Nader (Westlake) who each tallied a first round 77. Next was sophomore Augie Ward (Medina/ Walsh Jesuit) with an 80, and senior Matt Warren (Copley) shot an 83.

The Yellow Jackets will conclude the fall portion of their schedule tomorrow when they compete in the final round.  Tee times are scheduled for 9:00 a.m.
