SPORTS PLAYED AT BW (YEARS AND LETTERS WON):  As a senior in 2011-12, Ricky played in his fourth season of golf. He has earned four varsity letters.

GENERAL GOLF INFORMATION: Kyle has had a solid golf career as B-W compiled a 206-154-4 record during his four seasons in the Brown & Gold. Kyle finished his career with 39 tournaments played for 76 total rounds. He had a stroke average of 78.46 with 5963 total stokes. He shot his personal best three different times in the Fall of 2008 and 2011 and in the Spring of 2011.

 As a freshman in 2008-2009, Ricky played in his first season of golf and earned his first varsity letter. During the fall 2008 season, he competed in six tournaments and finished second in stroke average at 76.0 for 18 holes. His best round of 71 came at the Muskingum College Invitational at the Eagle Sticks Golf Club in South Zanesville. During the spring 2009 season, Ricky plaed in two tournaments before an injury ended his season. He averaged 77.0 strokes for three rounds including a season-best 74 on the first day on the first day of the Muskingum Spring Tournament at the Eagle Sticks Golf Club.

As a sophomore in 2009-10, Ricky played in his second season of golf and earned his second letter. In the fall, Ricky played in four tournaments and played in a total of eight rounds with a stroke average of 81.63. Ricky's best round came twicethe first at the Mount Union College Invitational Tournament and the second coming at the Denison University Invitational tournament with a score of 78. During the spring, Ricky plaed in a total of six tournaents that included 13 rounds of 18 holes. He shot an average of 79.69 per round and his best round came three times this spring when he shot a 77 at the OAC, Denison and Muskingum Tournaments. He tied for 16th as an individual at the OAC Tournament (77-78=155) helping B-W to a third place team finish.

As a junior in 2010-11, Ricky played in his third season of golf. In the fall, Ricky played in five tournaments and played in a total of nine rounds with a stroke average of 78.11. Ricky's best round came at the Wittenberg Invitational on the first day. During the spring, Ricky placed in a total of five tournaents that included 11 rounds of 18 holes. He shot an average of 76.82 per round and his best round came twice this spring when he shot a 71 at the OAC tournament during his first and second round. He shot a final round 77 for a 54-hole total of 219 strokes to place second individually and earn All-OAC honors as he helped B-W finish in fifth place.

As a senior in 2011-12, Ricky played in his fourth year of golf for the Yellow Jackets. In the Fall of 2011, Ricky played in four tournaments and seven rounds and had the lowest stroke average on the team at 75.71 strokes. He also tied for the lowest single-round score with a one over 71 on the second day of the Mt. Union Inivtational at Alliance Country Club. During the Spring of 2012, Ricky was named as the OAC Golfer of the Week on March 12, 2012 for his efforts at the Spring Break Quad Match in North Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. During the Spring, Ricky played in seven tournaments, and 14 total rounds. He had a stroke average of 80.64 and a total of 1,129 strokes

: In golf, Ricky was team Rookie of the Year as a freshman, and was team M.V.P., first team All-District, a two time Plain Dealer Player to Watch, and a state qualifier as a sophomore. Ricky was also team M.V.P. and team captain as a junior as well as first team All-District. Ricky was voted as North Coast Tour Plain Dealers Player of the Year. Ricky won the Granville Invitational , shooting a 74 overall in a field of 106. Ricky also finished third at the U.S. Junior Amateur at Mayfield Country VClub in South Euclid.
