BEREA, OHIO -- Three Baldwin Wallace University student-athletes, men's sophomore golfer Stephen Spalding (Stow/ Walsh Jesuit), junior football linebacker J.J. Laseak (Mentor) and senior football placekicker Brad Pollock (Brecksville/ Brecksville-Broadview Heights), were chosen today (Monday, September 13, 2010) as Ohio Athletic Conference players-of-the-week for their efforts during the Week of September 6-12.

Spalding is the Men's Golfer of the Week by virtue of his runner-up finish at the Ohio Wesleyan University Invitational Tournament when he shot rounds of 77 and 75 on the par-71 Oakhaven Golf Course layout in Delaware, Ohio.  He also carded a first round 74 yesterday during the first round of the Clarion University Invitational Tournament on the par-72 Clarion Oaks Country Club course in Clarion, Pennsylvania.  The Yellow Jackets play the second round of the Clarion Tournament today with a 1:00 p.m. shotgun start.
