BEREA, OHIO -- Baldwin Wallace University senior Nick Bryan (Zanesville/Rosecrans) has been named as the Ohio Athletic Conference Men's Golfer of the Week after earning medalist honors at the Ted Barclay Classic on Saturday and Sunday (April 10-11).

Bryan recorded a two-day total of 146 (74-72) on the par-71 and 6,559-yard Granville Golf Course. Bryan's first-place finish was the first in his career.

For the spring season, he has a team-best 78.33 average in three tournaments and six rounds of play. Bryan also averaged a team-best 76.25 during four fall tournaments.

For his career, Bryan owns the top two seasonal stroke averages in school history. He averaged 74.00 during the fall of 2007 and 74.55 during the fall of 2008.

Bryan and the rest of the Yellow Jackets are back in action at the Ohio Athletic Conference Spring Invitational at River Greens Golf Course in West Lafayette, Ohio on Saturday and Sunday, April 17-18.
