BEREA, Ohio - Baldwin Wallace University men's basketball sophomore guard Ray Ellington (Westlake) has been named to the 2023-24 All-Ohio Athletic Conference second team.

Ellington earns his first career All-OAC accolade after scoring a team-high 354 points and tying a team-high 129 rebounds for the Yellow Jackets this season. He appeared in and started 18 games for the Brown and Gold where he was second in the OAC in points per game averaging 19.7, and was fourth in the OAC in rebounds per game with 7.2. On the season, Ellington shot 46.3% from the field and 33.3% from the three. He was also fifth on the team with a career-high 20 assists, third on the team with a career-high 11 blocks, and tallied 10 steals. Ellington was awarded the OAC Men's Basketball Player of the Week on January 2 for his first career weekly accolade.

In his career, Ellington has scored 481 points, grabbed 186 rebounds, and has dished out 35 assists through 36 games and 22 starts for the Yellow Jackets. He has also added 18 steals and 18 blocks, and averages 13.4 points and 5.2 rebounds per game.

BW finished the season with a 6-19 overall record and a 3-15 record in the OAC.
