NAPPANEE, Ind. - The No. 3 nationally ranked Baldwin Wallace University defeated No. 17 nationally ranked Benedictine (Ill.) University in walk-off fashion by a score of 10-9 in a non-conference neutral site game at the Field of Dreams Complex hosted by NorthWood High School.

In a game scheduled only a day ago, BW (30-6) fell early to Benedictine (25-9) as the Eagles piled on five runs in the first three innings. The Brown and Gold came back to take an 8-5 lead in the fourth and added an insurance run in the seventh but that did not stop Benedictine from tying things up in the final frame. The Yellow Jackets quickly loaded the bases in the bottom of the ninth and only needed a base knock to earn their first walk-off win of the season.
