BEREA, Ohio - The No. 4 nationally ranked Baldwin Wallace University baseball team celebrated Seniors' Day with a comeback win as it overcame a five-run deficit by scoring eight straight to defeat Allegheny College by a score of 10-8 in the regular season finale at Fisher Field.

Before the game, fourteenth-year head coach Brian Harrison and the baseball program congratulated senior student-athletes Max Anastasio (Chesterbroo, Pa./Conestoga), Aidan Bennett (Naples, Fla./Barron Collier), Nick Clark (Willowick/Notre Dame Cathedral Latin), Lincoln Earl (Howell, Mich.), Gabe Hayek (Buffalo, N.Y./St. Joseph's Collegiate Institute), Dan Petrouskie (Seaford, N.Y./IMG Academy), Drew Schaly (Ashland), and Gordon Seger (Rome/Grand Valley) as well as fifth-year seniors Garrett Miller (McMurray, Pa.), Mark Mohnickey Jr. (North Ridgeville/St. Edward), and Matt Sabin (Mentor) on completing their outstanding baseball careers at BW.

BW's (33-7) Seniors' Day festivities looked to be spoiled after Allegheny (25-13) quickly took a two-run lead in the first. The Yellow Jackets were able to stay in the game by scoring a few runs of their own until the Gators took a commanding 7-2 lead into the bottom of the seventh. But BW never backed down. The Brown and Gold put on a eight-run scoring clinic in the bottom of the frame to take the lead and clinch the victory in the seniors' last home regular season game at Fisher Field.
