BALDWIN WALLACE ATHLETICS INFORMATION: Alex Havens played his freshman season of baseball at Baldwin Wallace University in the spring of 2013. He received a Certificate of Participation.
As a freshman in 2012-2013, Alex played his first season of baseball and was a back up middle infielder who split time between the varsity and junior varsity teams. He saw action in three varsity games and batted .200 (1-for-5) with one run scored, a double and a run batted-in. He also flawlessly handled three chances in the field. Alex helped the Yellow Jackets tie the single-season school-record for wins with 27 and compile a 27-13 overall mark.
FAMILY RELATON: Senior pitching staff "ace" Pat Havens '13 is Alex's older brother.
ACADEMIC INFORMATION: Alex is a business administration and marketing major.

HIGH SCHOOL INFORMATION: Alex Havens grew up in Twinsburg, Ohio and graduated from Twinsburg High School. He played four years of baseball and lettered three times. Alex also played four years of basketball and earned one varsity letter.
In baseball as a junior and senior, Alex was named as a Northeast Ohio Conference first team performer.
