SPORTS PLAYED AT BW (YEARS AND LETTERS WON): As a junior in 2012, Dave competed in his third season of baseball and earned his third varsity letter.

ACADEMIC HONORS: Dave carries a 3.63 grade point average. He is a Dean's List student and Jacket Scholar and a member of the Alpha Lambda and Chi Sigma Alpha honor societies. As a junior in 2012, Dave was named as an honorable mention Academic All-Ohio Athletic Conference student-athlete.

GENERAL BASEBALL INFORMATION: Dave has had a solid baseball career thus far. B-W has recorded a 56-53-1 record during his first three seasons in the Brown & Gold. For his career, Dave has a 7-10 with a 5.70 ERA and 92 whiffs in 109 innings pitched. He has five complete games, one individual shutout and two total shutouts.

As a freshman in 2010, Dave played in his first season of baseball and earned his first varsity letter.  He appeared in nine games on the mound, starting three.  He finished with an 0-2 record and a 7.71 earned run average in 18 and two-thirds innings pitched. Dave struck out 16 batters as well.  B-W finished the season 12-23-1.

As a sophomore in 2011, Dave played in his second season of baseball and earned his second varsity letter.  He appeared in nine games, starting a team-leading eight.  Dave finished with a 2-5 record and a 4.89 ERA over 38 and two-thirds innings on the mound.  He also had 31 strikeouts and a team-leading three complete games. B-W finished 17-17.

As a junior in 2012, Dave played in his third season of baseball and earned his third varsity letter. He appeared in 11 games on the mound, starting nine of them. He finished with a 5-3 record and a 5.57 ERA while striking out 45 batters in 51 and two-thirds innings pitched. Dave also had two complete games. B-W finished its season with a school-record 27 wins and 27-13 record. For his efforts on the mound as well as in the classroom, Dave was named as an honorable mention Academic All-Ohio Athletic Conference student-athlete.
