B-W's Nealon Twins Earn All-OAC Baseball Honors

BEREA, OHIO -- Baldwin-Wallace College senior twin brothers, Chris and Scott Nealon (Avon Lake), have been named to the 2010 All-Ohio Athletic Conference baseball team.

 was tabbed as a second-team pick at first base and Scott Nealon was selected to the honorable mention squad as a designated hitter.  The duo had their finest seasons as collegians this spring.
 
Chris Nealon led the Yellow Jackets with a .390 batting average (48-of-123) and three homeruns and tied for the team lead with 10 doubles.  Chris Nealon also recorded 29 runs batted-in, 22 runs scored and 11 walks. Defensively, he posted a fine .993 fielding average with 266 putouts and 12 assists. Chris Nealon also made five pitching appearances and logged seven and one-third innings on the mound. In 69 career games and 53 starts, he batted .391 with 47 RBI.

Scott Nealon hit .361 (48-of-133) with two homeruns and 28 RBI after moving from third base to designated hitter part way through the season. He also scored 24 runs, walked 10 times and stole five bases. In 91 career games and 66 starts, Scott Nealon hit .359 with three homeruns and 59 RBI.
