Louisville, K.Y. – Freshmen Hope Murphy (Mogadore) competed at the 2021 NCAA Division III Cross Country Championships, hosted by Spalding University at the E.P. Tom Sawyer State Park in Louisville, Kentucky.

Murphy concludes her freshemn year as she finished 194th in the 6k run in a time of 23:05.7 after coming into the meet from placing sixth in the DIII Great Lakes Cross Country Regional Championships. Before regionals, Murphy won the OAC Championship meet in Wimington. Murphy has qualified for the 2021 NCAA Division III Outdoor Track and Field Championships but this is her first time qualifying for the NCAA Cross Country Championship. 

John Hopkins University took home the trophy in 1st place.
