Laughner and Murphy Earn All-American Honors at NCAA Division III Outdoor Track and Field Championships

GENEVA, Ohio. -  Senior All-American distance runner Alyssa Laughner (Howard, Pa./Central Mountain) and sophomore All-American distance runner Hope Murphy (Mogadore) earn All-American honors at the NCAA Division III Outdoor Track and Field Championships at Spire Institute. 

  • Laughner competed in the 3000-meter steeplechase placing fifth with a personal record time of 10:36.85, adding a third all-american honor to her career. 
    • She placed eighth in this event last year
  • Murphy competed in the 1500-meter run placing third place with a time of 4:28.79, earning her first all-american honor.
    • She placed 11th in this event in last year
