Four Women’s Tennis Athletes Selected to All-OAC Team

WESTERVILLE, Ohio – Four Baldwin Wallace University women's tennis athletes were selected to the All-Ohio Conference team as voted on by coaches in the league.

Senior Ashtyn Morris (Salem), sophomore Gabriela Heideman (Doylestown/Wadsworth) and sophomore Kierstyn Yates (Grafton/Midview) sere selected to the second team. Freshman Hanna LeMaster (Avon) earned honorable mention honors.

Morris, earns her third All-OAC honors and her first on the second team. Morris earns the honors after posting a 4-10 record in singles action, including a 3-9 mark in the No. 1 spot. In doubles play, she posted a 12-7 record including a 9-4 record in the No. 1 position. In her career, Morris posted a 30-39 record in singles action and a 41-37 record in doubles play.

Heideman, earns her second straight All-OAC second team honors. This season, Heideman went 9-8 in singles, with a 7-5 mark in the No. 2 spot. Sheposted a 13-8 mark in the No. 1 spot in doubles play. In her career, Heideman has posted a 13-10 record in singles play and a 18-9 record in doubles action.

Yates, garners her first career All-OAC honors. This season, Yates had a record of 7-10 in singles action, including a 4-8 mark in the No. 3 position. In doubles action, she went 5-11 including a 3-2 record in the No. 1 position. In her career, she has posted a 10-13 record in singles action and a 7-15 mark in doubles play.

LeMaster, earns her first All-OAC honors in her first season at BW. LeMaster, earns the selection after going 8-7 in singles action, including a 5-1 mark in OAC play. In doubles play, she went 4-12, including a 4-4 mark in the No. 2 spot.

The Yellow Jackets returned to the OAC Tournament and made it to the Semifinals match after posting a 6-11 overall record and a 4-2 mark in the OAC.
