BALDWIN WALLACE ATHLETICS INFORMATION: Andrew Taylor completed his third season of wrestling at Baldwin Wallace University in 2012-2013. He has earned three varsity letters.

GENERAL WRESTLING INFORMATION: Andrew is off to a solid wrestling career thus far. BW recorded a 15-19 record during his first three seasons as a Yellow Jacket. He has appeared in 105 matches for an overall record of 55-50 in three different weight classes. Throughout his career Andrew has recorded 180 takedowns, 99 escapes, 17pins and 28 reversals.

As a freshman in 2010-11, Andrew competed in his first season of wrestling.  He competed in the 133/141/149-pound weight classes during the winter. Andrew was willing to do whatever he could to help the team as he gained and lost weight all season to help the team in any way he could. He recorded a season record of 21-18 which is the sixth highest total on the team. Andrew record outstanding totals in every statistical category including 82 takedowns, 27 escapes, seven reversals, 10 nearfalls including six nearfall two's, and four nearfalls three's. Six of Andrew's wins are by pinfall which ranks him tied for fourth on the team. He helped lead B-W to there first winning season in since the 2006-07 season. The Yellow Jackets posted a 10-9 dual meet record, including a 4-2 mark in OAC matches.

As a sophomore in 2011-12, Andrew competed in his second season of wrestling.  He wrestled in the 133/141 pound weight classes all season.  Andrew posted a 13-16 overall record, which was the second most wins by any wrestle on the team.  He recorded 26 takedowns, 33 escapes, six reversals, with five N2, and two N3.  Andrew placed fifth in both the 2011 RIT tournament and the Ashland Harris Open Meet.

As a junior in 2012-13, Andrew competed in his third season of wrestling and earned his third varsity letter. He was the starting 141-pounder and compiled a 21-16 overall record. Andrew had a great season, totaling a team-high 82 takedowns. He also had seven pins, 39 escapes and 15 reversals.

As a senior in 2013-14, Andrew is competing in his fourth season of wrestling and will look to earn his fourth varsity letter.

HOMETOWN & HIGH SCHOOL INFORMATION: Andrew Taylor grew up in Columbus, Ohio and graduated from Worthington Kilbourne High School. Andrew wrestled for four years and earned four varsity letters.  He also played varsity soccer for three years. In wrestling, Andrew was a state qualifier along with being named Third Team All-Metro and Second Team All-Conference. Andrew was a Scholar Athlete.
