BALDWIN WALLACE ATHLETICS INFORMATION: Sam McIntosh completed his second season of wrestling at Baldwin Wallace University in 2012-2013. He has earned one varsity letter.

GENERAL WRESTLING INFORMATION: Sam is off to a solid wrestling career thus far. BW recorded a 5-10 record during his first two seasons as a Yellow Jacket. He appeared in 43 matches for an overall record of 24-19 in the 149 lb. weight class. In his first two seasons he recorded 41 takedowns, 21 reversals, and 22 escapes.

As a freshman in 2011-12, Sam competed in his first season of wrestling. He wrestled in the 149-pound weight class and compiled 24 takedowns, 14 escapes and 13 reversals, which resulted in one N2. He finished with a 17-13 overall record for the season for a 56.7 percent average. Sam finished sixth in the 26th Annual John Summa Memorial Tournament.

As a sophomore in 2012-13, Sam competed in his second season of wrestling. Sam's season was cut short however, due to injury. Before Sam's injury, he had a 7-6 overall record which included 17 takedowns, eight escapes and eight reversals.

As a junior in 2013-14, Sam will compete in his third season of wrestling and will look to earn his second varsity letter.

HOMETOWN & HIGH SCHOOL INFORMATION: Sam McIntosh grew up in South Euclid, Ohio and graduated from Brush High School. Sam participated in Wrestling. He lettered four years in Wrestling.

Sam was a three-time District qualifier, a state qualifier, placed third at NOC, and fourth at NOC.
