BALDWIN WALLACE INFORMATION:

SPORTS PLAYED AT BW (YEARS AND LETTERS WON): As a freshman in 2011-12, Alex competed in his first season of wrestling and earned his first varsity letter.

GENERAL WRESTLING INFORMATION: Alex is off to a solid wrestling career thus far. B-W  recorded a 1-6 record during his first season as a Yellow Jacket. He appeared in 18 matches for an overall record of 2-16 in the 157 lb. weight class. In his first season he recorded ten takedowns, 20 escapes, and one reversal.

As a freshman in 2011-12, Alex competed in his first  season of wrestling. He earned his first letter. Alex had a total of 10 takedowns, 20 escapes and 1 reversal. Alex will look to compete in the 157 lbs. weight class next season.

HIGH SCHOOL SPORTS PLAYED (YEARS & LETTERS EARNED): Alex participated in football, wrestling and track & field. He lettered two years in football, four years in wrestling and two years in track.

HIGH SCHOOL HONORS, (ALL-CONFERENCE, DISTRICT,  ETC.): In football as a senior in 2010-11, Alex was an All-Southwestern Conference Linebacker and served as a team captain. In Wrestling as a senior, he was a team captain and an Ohio High School Athletic Association (OHSAA) District qualifier. He placed fourth in the Lorain Southview Sectional Tournament. In the classroom, Alex was named to the Academic Honor Roll all four years and was tabbed as a Wrestling Scholar-Athlete.
