BW's Tristan Stoll Named OAC Wrestler of the Week for Second Time this Season

BEREA, OHIO -- Baldwin Wallace University junior 197-pounder Tristan Stoll (Milan/ Edison) has been named the Ohio Athletic Conference Wrestler of the Week for the second time this season after posting a perfect 3-0 mark competition last week.

Stoll earned a major decision in OAC dual meet action last Tuesday at Ohio Northern and won the 197-pound championship at the 24th Annual John Summa Memorial Tournament on Saturday.

Versus ONU, Stoll won by a score of 20-7. During Saturday's Summa Tournament he pinned both of his opponents in respective times of 2:54 and 1:13.

For the season, Stoll has a team-best 16-3 overall record and a 3-1 mark in the OAC.

Stoll and the rest of the Yellow Jackets wrap up the regular season tomorrow night (Tuesday, February 9, 2010) versus OAC and Cleveland cross-town rival John Carroll University. Wrestling is set to begin at 7:30 p.m. at Ursprung Gymnasium in Berea.

BW returns to action on Saturday, February 20 at the 2010 OAC Championship Tournament hosted by Mount Union College at 10:00 a.m. at the McPherson Academic and Athletic Complex in Alliance.
