The Yellow Jackets lost to 29th-ranked Olivet (Mich.) College, 37-12, bounced back to defeat Muskingum College, 29-27, and fell to King's (Pa.) College, 27-15.
BW now stands at 3-10 overall for the season and will wrap up its weekend tomorrow at 10:30 a.m.
On day one of the duals, BW was led by junior 197-pounder Tristan Stoll (Milan/ Edison), junior 157-pounderKorey Leonhard (Kinsman/ Pymatuning Valley) and sophomore heavyweight Ryan Jones (Uniontown/ Lake)
Versus Olivet, Stoll won by pin (2:00) and Leonhard and Jones (Uniontown/ Lake) each won by decision.
Versus Muskingum, Leonhard picked up a technical fall victory, Stoll won by pin (2:30) and Jones won by pin (3:13). Junior 125-pounder Tyler Erwin (Westerville/ Watkins Memorial) and senior 141-pounder Eric Schubert (Oberlin) each won by forfeit.
Versus King's, Erwin won by pin (00:43), sophomore Grant Steward (Columbus/ Worthington Kilbourne)earned a decision, and junior Ohio Athletic Conference 174 pounds champion Andrew Scavuzzo (Cuyahoga Falls/ Woodridge) won by pin (6:59) in his first action of the day.
Following tomorrow's round, the Jackets are back in action on Tuesday, January 19 at Ohio Athletic Conference rival and nationally-ranked Heidelberg University at 7:30 p.m. in Tiffin, Ohio.
