Baldwin Wallace University Senior Brian Bucher Named OAC Wrestler of the Week

BEREA ,OHIO -- Baldwin Wallace University senior 133-pounder Brian Bucher (Ottawa Hills/Avon Lake)has been named the Ohio Athletic ConferenceWrestler of the Week for the second time this season.

Last week, Bucher posted a 4-0 mark and captured the 133-lb. title at the 23rd Annual John Summa Memorial Tournament in Berea on Saturday, Feb. 7. He won three matches en route to capturing the crown for a second consecutive season. On Wednesday, Feb. 4, Bucher shutout John Carroll University's Greg Stolfer by a score of 5-0 in OAC dual meet action.

Bucher, now 22-8 overall, and the rest of the Yellow Jackets are idle until the 2009 OAC Championships hosted by Muskingum College on Saturday, Feb. 21. All of the action from New Concord is set to begin at 10 a.m.
