BEREA, OHIO -- The Baldwin Wallace University wrestling team lost to Ohio Athletic Conference foe Wilmington College, 24-21, tonight (Tuesday, December 2, 2008) in the Fred Raizk Arena in Wilmington. It was the OAC opener for each team and the first-ever collegiate match for 45-year-old junior 255-pounder Terence Haynes (Brunswick Hills/ Cleveland Glenville). In addition to Haynes, senior 133-pounder Brian Bucher (Ottawa Hills/ Avon Lake) improved to 11-2 this season with a technical fall, 19-4 over David Evans from Wilmington. Also winning for the Yellow Jackets were junior 141-pounder Eric Shubert (Oberlin) won by injury default, senior 157-pounder Scott Haber (Brook Park/ Parma Normandy) won by major decision (11-2), senior 165-pounder Joe Incrovaia (Medina Highland) won by a 3-1 score and sophomore 184-pounder Andrew Scavuzzo (Cuyahoga Falls/Woodridge) won 5-0.
