TIFFIN, Ohio – Baldwin Wallace University senior two-time All-Ohio Athletic Conference midfielder Megan Patrick (Ravenna/Kent Roosevelt) scored the 100th goal of her career as the Yellow Jackets beat Heidelberg University 19-5 for their final Ohio Athletic Conference road game inside Hoernemann Stadium.

Patrick becomes just the fourth player in BW (8-5, 5-1 OAC) women's lacrosse history to attain the 100 goal milestone, joining her teammate senior three-time All-OAC and Academic All-OAC attack Hannah Albrechta (Uniontown/Green) who achieved the mark herself earlier in the season against Kenyon College.

Albrechta was the Yellow Jackets' leading scorer with a line of four goals and a career-high five assists for a career-best nine points. Sophomore midfielder Maddie Ray (Cuyahoga Falls/Akron Revere) recorded career bests of six goals, two assists and eight points. Patrick netted six goals and added one assist for seven points.

In the net, sophomore goalkeeper Ashleigh Hildreth (North Tonawanda, N.Y./Sweet Home) picks up her eighth win of the season while making six saves in the game.

Junior midfielder Anna Winnicki tallied one goal and one assist as the Student Princes' (7-8, 1-5 OAC) lone multi-point scorer.

BW's three leading scorers in Albrechta, Ray and Patrick got on the stat sheet early, each recording a goal within the first five minutes of action. Senior attack Mackenzie Moran (Carlisle, Pa.) followed with her lone score before Heidelberg cut the Yellow Jackets' lead in half at 4-2 with 19:32 remaining. Patrick and Ray then combined for a 3-0 run to build up to a five-goal advantage. The Student Princes' scored with 4:42 remaining and only trailed by four goals once again. However, Patrick had the best and last look of the first half as she recorded her milestone goal less than 40 seconds later, sending BW into the locker room with an 8-3 lead.

After each team traded goals across the first seven minutes of resumed action, the Yellow Jackets controlled the remainder of the half and finished off the game on a 9-0 run. Patrick, Ray and Albrechta each recorded hat tricks in the second half alone while sophomore attack Alexis O'Neill (Westlake) and the reigning OAC Offensive Player of the Week in junior All-OAC attack Brie Martineau (Strongsville) both added their only goals of the game en route to the 19-5 victory.

BW returns home on Wednesday, April 24, to host five-time defending OAC champion University of Mount Union at 7 p.m. inside George Finnie Stadium.
