Five Women's Lacrosse Student-Athletes Named Academic All-OAC

AUSTINTOWN, Ohio – Five Baldwin Wallace University women's lacrosse student-athletes have been named to the Academic All-Ohio Athletic Conference team.

In order to be selected to the Academic All-OAC team, a student-athlete must be a sophomore or higher in class standing, maintain varsity status and have at least a 3.5 cumulative GPA.

Senior four-time All-OAC attack Hannah Albrechta (Uniontown/Green), junior defender Erika Davidson (East Aurora, N.Y.), sophomore defender Ireland Flores Rae (Sylvania/Saint Ursula Academy), sophomore defender Christina Roskoph (Strongsville) and junior three-time All-OAC defender Hannah Stein (Medina/Highland) are five of the 62 Yellow Jacket student-athletes to be recognized this spring.

Albrechta, who earns her third career Academic All-OAC honor, is a psychology major who carries a 3.865 GPA. She is a Dean's List student, a Jacket Scholar and a member of the Chi Alpha Sigma and Alpha Lambda Delta honor societies. For her career, Albrechta appeared in 64 games and recorded 120 goals, 73 assists, 193 points, 93 ground balls, 19 draw controls and 42 caused turnovers. 

Davidson, who garners her second straight Academic All-OAC accolade, is a chemistry major who carries a 3.909 GPA. Academically, she is a Dean's List student and a Jacket Scholar. In her career, Davidson has appeared in 36 games and has tallied one goal, one point, 38 ground balls and 13 caused turnovers.

Flores Rae, who is named to her first Academic All-OAC team, is a public health major who carries a 3.56 GPA. A Dean's List student, Flores Rae has appeared in 13 games in her career and has recorded three ground balls and two caused turnovers.

Roskoph, who also earns her first career Academic All-OAC honor, is a sport management and marketing double major who carries a 3.64 GPA. Off the field, she is a Dean's List student and a student assistant in the Office of Athletic Communications. For her career, Roskoph has appeared in 31 games and has tallied 13 goals, three assists, 16 points, 29 ground balls, three draw controls and 16 caused turnovers.

Stein, who garners her second consecutive Academic All-OAC accolade, is an international business and finance double major who carries a 3.98 GPA. She is a Dean's List student, a Jacket Scholar, a member of the Alpha Lambda Delta Honor Society and the 2017-18 recipient of the BW Academic Excellence Award for having the highest GPA on the women's lacrosse team. In her career, Stein has appeared in 45 games and has recorded 38 goals, nine assists, 47 points, 95 ground balls, 177 draw controls and 71 caused turnovers.
