BEREA, Ohio – The Baldwin Wallace University women's lacrosse team under the direction of fifth-year Head Coach Kim Russell opens the 2017 season on the road as it travels for a pair of February games in Kentucky against Transylvania University on February 25 and Centre College on February 26.
The schedule features the team's annual spring break trip to Florida to compete in the 21st Annual Spring Fling. BW will take on Methodist (N.C.) College on March 7 and Kean (N.J.) University on March 9.
The Yellow Jackets will also play non-conference games against Allegheny (Pa.) College, Houghton (N.Y.) College, Oberlin College, NCAA Division II Ursuline College and the College Wooster.
BW opens OAC action on Saturday, March 25 when it hosts Muskingum University in the first game of a women's and men's doubleheader. The Yellow Jackets will also host league games against Wilmington College on April 1, Heidelberg University on April 5, Ohio Northern University on April 14 and the University of Mount Union on April 26.
The OAC Tournament Semifinals will be played on May 3 with the championship game being contested on May 6.
BW finished the 2016 season with an overall record of 11-7 and a fourth-place finish in the OAC standings with a mark of 4-3.
