Budzyn scored her first goal of the game on a free position shot at the 2:20 mark to send BW into the break with a 3-2 lead.

Bodkin
extended the Yellow Jackets' lead to 4-2 with an unassisted goal just 38 seconds into the second half, but Noce scored a pair of goals six minutes later, both assisted by Gargulinski, to tie the score for the second time.

Budzyn
answered the call with two unassisted goals of her own inside of one minute and BW retook a 6-4 edge.  The Yellow Jackets outscored Franciscan by a 3-2 margin down the stretch to put the game on ice, including goals by Fedick, sophomore attack Nikki Bowman (Ashland/ Hillsdale), and freshman attack Jackie Buchheister (Biglerville, Pa./ Biglerville).
Junior Bridget Walsh (Elyria/Elyria Catholic) logged all 60 minutes in goal and made four saves for the Yellow Jackets. Sophomore Bethany Potvin collected 13 saves in 60 minutes of action for the Barons.
