WEST LAFAYETTE, Ohio - The Baldwin Wallace University women's golf team placed fifth at the OAC Fall Preview at the River Greens Golf Course.
BW finished fifth out of seven teams with a two-day total of 734 strokes on the par 72 and 5,808 River Greens layout.
The top five leading BW:
- Sophomore Brooke Newsome (Clyde) tied ninth and carded rounds of 88 and 89 with a total of 177
- Freshman Alana Smith (Fremont / Ross) tied 17th and tallied rounds of 93 and 89 for a total of 182
- Sophomore Hannah Ogden (Poland/Poland Seminary) tied 22nd and shot rounds of 102 and 88 for a total of 190
- Junior Academic All-OAC selection Kaitlynn Olak (Norwalk/St. Paul) tied 32nd with rounds of 108 and 94 for a total of 202
- Sophomore Halle Kalaman (Tallmadge / Akron St. Vincent-St. Mary) placed 47th with a round of 91
The Yellow Jackets are back in action on Sunday, October 9th when they travel to Willoughby Hills to compete in the John Carroll Fall Invitational at the Manakiki Golf Course.
