BALDWIN WALLACE INFORMATION:

SPORTS PLAYED AT BW (YEARS AND LETTERS WON):  Catherine played four seasons of basketball and earned four varsity letters. She served as a team captain for three seasons.

GENERAL BASKETBALL INFORMATION: Catherine had a solid career during her four years at Baldwin-Wallace. She played forward and was a two-year starter who helped the Yellow Jackets compile an outstanding, 76-34 record and advance to the 2008-2009 NCAA Division III National Tournament. In addition to her excellence on the basketball court, she was extremely involved both on and off campus.  Her career culminated in being named as the 2011-12 receipient of the Clyde Lamb Award, symbolic of the school's Most Outstanding Student-Athlete.
Individually, Catherine scored 451 points and grabbed 620 rebounds to rank ninth all-time in rebounding. She also contributed 73 assists, 63 steals and 37 blocked shots and was an excellent defensive player.  She also served as a team captain as a sophomore, junior and senior. As a senior, she earned Academic All-OAC honors.

As a freshman in 2008-2009, Catherine played her first season of basketball and earned her first letter. She participated in 10 games and averaging 3.1 points, 1.8 rebounds and had one assist.  Her best game was at Heidelberg University where she scored 10 points and grabbed four rebounds in a 91-41 victory. She helped B-W to a 22-8 overall record and an at-large appearance in the NCAA Division III National Tournament. B-W won its first NCAA tourney game before being eliminated in the second round.

As a sophomore in 2009-2010, Catherine competed in her second season of basketball and earned her second varsity letter.  She was a team captain.  She played in all 27 games and came off the bench to help the Yellow Jackets to a 19-8 record. Catherine scored 6.1 ppg. and was second on the team with 6.6 rpg. She also had 13 blocked shots. Her best game came in a 75-50 win against Muskingum University when she had a double-double with 13 points and 10 rebounds.

As a junior in 2010-2011, Catherine competed in her third year of basketball and earned her third letter. The team captain played in 24 games and averaged 6.2 ppg. and led the team in rebounds with 8.2 rpg. as B-W finished 18-8 overall.

As a senior in 2011-12, Catherine was the starting center and earned fourth varsity letter and served as a team captain for the third straight year. She helped B-W compile a 17-10 record and averaged 4.0 ppg. and a team-leading 8.4 rpg.

HIGH SCHOOL HONORS, (ALL-CONFERENCE, DISTRICT,  ETC.): As a junior in basketball in 2006-2007, Catherine was a second-team All-Sandusky Bay Conference selection.  As a senior in 2007-2008, she first-team All-SBC, first-team All-Northwest District, first-team All-District 6 and honorable mention All-Ohio. Catherine also was voted as the Sandusky St. Mary Central Catholic High School Most Valuable Player in both 2006-2007 and 2007-2008 and was a four-year member of the All-SBC Academic Team.
