Softball Pitches Out 2023 Schedule

BEREA, Ohio – The Baldwin Wallace University softball under the direction of veteran head softball coach Tom Spencer team has unveiled its 2023 schedule.

BW opens the 2023 campaign with its annual spring break trip West.  The Yellow Jackets will be making two different stops on this year's trip as it first travels to The Golden State for a pair of non-conference doubleheaders against University of La Verne (Calif.) on March 3 and the University of Redlands (Calif.) on March 4.  BW then will continue heading West as it will make its way across the Pacific Ocean to the Aloha State for a pair of non-conference doubleheaders against NCAA Division II opponents Hawaii Pacific University on March 7 and Chaminade (Hawaii) University on March 10.

After spending a week in two separate time zones, the Yellow Jackets remain on the road for a pair of non-conference doubleheaders against the University of Pittsburg at Bradford on March 18 and Hiram College on March 22.  BW plays just one home doubleheader in the first month of action as it hosts Adrian (Mich.) College on March 25.  The Yellow Jackets close out March with another road non-conference doubleheader against The College of Wooster on March 26.

BW opens Ohio Athletic Conference action and the month of April with a home doubleheader against Wilmington College on April 1. The Yellow Jackets host their final home non-conference doubleheader against Olivet (Mich.) College on April 2.  

BW hosts April OAC doubleheaders against the University of Mount Union on April 12, Otterbein University on April 22, and Capital University on April 29. The Yellow Jackets will also go on the road for OAC doubleheaders against Ohio Northern University on April 4, Marietta College on April 7, Muskingum University on April 15, Heidelberg University on April 19. BW also closes out non-conference action in April with a road doubleheader against Oberlin College on April 13.

The Yellow Jackets close out the regular season on May 6 when it travels to take on crosstown rival John Carroll University.

The OAC Tournament will be contested on the weekend of May 12-13 on the campus of the regular season champion.
