BEREA, Ohio – The Baldwin Wallace University softball team, under the direction of veteran head coach Tom Spencer, opens up the 2020 season with its annual spring break trip to Tucson, Arizona for the Tucson Invitational Games from March 9-13.

Following the Arizona trip, BW will hit the road for two straight doubleheaders first with a non-conference clash at Oberlin College on March 19 and then its first OAC doubleheader at Wilmington College on March 21.

The Yellow Jackets then open an eight-game homestand with doubleheaders against Hiram College on March 23, The College of Wooster on March 26, defending OAC Champion Muskingum University on March 28 and crosstown rival John Carroll University on April 1.

The schedule also features non-conference road doubleheaders against Thiel (Pa.) College, Geneva (Pa.) College and Calvin (Mich.) College.

Other home OAC doubleheaders in 2020 feature defending OAC Tournament champion Otterbein University on April 10, Ohio Northern University on April 15 and Marietta College on April 25.

The OAC Tournament will be contested from May 1-3 on the campus of the regular season champion.

BW finished the 2019 season with a school-record 33 victories and an overall record of 33-10.   The Yellow Jackets finished with a 13-5 mark in the OAC and were the third seed in the OAC Tournament.
