Boledovic and Minor Join Softball Coaching Staff

BEREA, Ohio – Baldwin Wallace University Softball Head Coach Tom Spencer has announced that Jeff Boledovic '89 and Sami Minor '19 have joined his coaching staff as assistant coaches for the 2020 season.

"We are fortunate to have Jeff and Sami join our coaching staff this season," said Spencer.  I look forward to working with a coaching staff that is passionate about the game of softball and truly cares about what is best for our players on and off the field."

Boledovic, whose daughter Alexis '19 was a four-time All-Ohio Athletic Conference and three-time Academic All-OAC softball student-athlete, returns to his alma mater after serving as a travel softball coach for 11 years as well as a club softball coach for four season.  Boledovic has served as a hitting consultant for two years and was an assistant coach at Midpark High School for two years.  He worked in the City of Brook Park in the service department for 26 years.   Boledovic earned a Bachelor of Arts in business management and was pitcher of the Yellow Jacket baseball team for four seasons. 

Minor returns to her alma mater after earning a Bachelor of Science in biology last May. She has served as a travel softball coach for the past four years.  As a player, Minor appeared in 138 career games and had 107 hits, 55 runs batted-in, 16 doubles, five homeruns and four triples.  Minor also had 27 walks and 14 stolen bases. Today, the four-year letterwinner serves as an instructor at D-Bat Middleburg Heights and as a substitute teacher.

BW opens the 2020 season on Monday, March 9 when it travels to Tucson, Arizona to compete in the annual Tucson Invitational Games as a part of its spring break trip.
