ACADEMIC MAJOR: Accounting

BW ATHLETICS INFORMATION:  Darcy Daniel played her second season of softball at Baldwin Wallace University in 2014-2015. The Academic All-Ohio Athletic Conference student-athlete earned her second varsity letter.

ACADEMIC HONORS: Darcy carries a perfect 4.0 grade point average, is a Dean's List student and Jacket Scholar. She also is a member of the Chi Sigma Alpha Honor Society.

As a sophomore in 2014-2015, Darcy earned Academic All-OAC honors.

GENERAL SOFTBALL INFORMATION:  As a freshman in 2013-2014, Darcy played in her first season of softball and earned her first varsity letter. She appeared in 10 games, starting in five of them. Darcy batted .176 (3-for-17) with one run scored. On the mound, Darcy compiled a 1-2 record in 10 appearences and 5 starts, including two complete games, one shutout, a 3.28 ERA and 12 strikeouts in 32 innings pitched. BW finished 18-19 overall.

As a sophomore in 2014-2015, Darcy played her second season of softball and earned her second letter. She split time between pitcher and playing in the field. She played in 30 games, including 27 starts. At the plate, Darcy batted .200 (15-for-75) with 11 runs scored, seven doubles, one home run and seven RBI's. On the mound, she appeared in four contests, including one start, and compiled a 0-0 record with a 16.06 ERA and two strikeouts in four and two-third innings pitched. Darcy was an Academic All-OAC selection. BW finished 14-23 overall.

As a junior in 2015-2016, Darcy is playing her third season of softball and hopes to earn her third letter.

HOMETOWN & HIGH SCHOOL INFORMATION: Darcy grew up in Sandusky, Ohio and graduated from Sandusky Perkins High School.

Darcy played softball for four years and earned four letters. She was a team captain.

Darcy earned first-team All-Sandusky Bay Conference honors and Most Outstanding Performer in the SBC. She also was a first-team All-District and first-team All Ohio selection. She also received the Offensive and Defensive Player of the Year Award in the SBC.
