ACADEMIC MAJOR: Pre-Engineering and Physics
SOFTBALL INFORMATION: Lauren Mims is playing her third season of softball at Baldwin Wallace University in 2014. She will look to earn her second varsity letter. She played her freshman season at Lorain County Community College during her senior year at Wellington.
As a sophomore in 2013, Lauren earned her first varsity letter as she appeared in five games with three starts. She had a batting average of 1.000 (1 hit in 1 at-bat) with a double and one RBI. In the field, she had two put outs, five assists, and zero errors for a fielding percentage of 1.000. On the mound, Lauren made five appearances with four starts and had a record of 1-1. Ahe struckout nine and walked five in 18 innings.
As a junior in 2014, Lauren played in her second season of softball and received a certificate of participation for her efforts. BW finished 18-19 overall.

HIGH SCHOOL INFORMATION: Lauren Mims grew up in Wellington, Ohio and graduated from Wellington High School. She played four years of volleyball and earned one varsity letter and played three years of softball and lettered once. As a senior, Lauren served as a volleyball team captain.
