McQueary Breaks School Record, Men's Swimming and Diving Finishes in Fourth at OAC Championships in Season Finale

AKRON, Ohio - The Baldwin Wallace University men's swimming and diving team finish in fourth place with 383.5 points on season finale and final day of the OAC Championships hosted by Mount Union at University of Akron inside Ocasek Natatorium. John Carroll took home the win with a total of 1,037 points.

The Yellow Jackets individual highlights included:

  • Freshman Tommie McQueary (Batavia/Bethel Tate) placed second in the 200-yard butterfly in a time of 1:53.91, breaks the school record by 4 seconds. 
    • This is McQueary's second career All-OAC honors.
  • Freshmen Erik Tagg (Pittsburgh,Pa. / Chartiers Valley) placed 13th in the 1650 yard freestyle in a time of 18:21.52.
  • Sophomore Grant Doolittle (Tekonsha,Mich. / Marshall) finished in ninth in the 200-yard butterfly in a time of 48.01 seconds.
  • Junior Alec McNeill (Avon Lake) finished 10th in the 200-yard breaststroke in a time of 2:18.93. 
  • Freshmen Aidan Hicks (Oneida) placed 13th in the 200-yard backstroke in a time of 2:04.51.
