Men's Soccer Salutes Six Senior Student-Athletes

BEREA, Ohio -- The Baldwin Wallace University Athletic Department and men's soccer program would like to con­gratulate senior student-athletes Matt Begin, Jason Lambert, Attila Nagy, Jr., Peter Petri, Reed Watkins and Steve Fore on completing their outstanding athletic careers at the University.

The University administration, faculty and staff congratulates these six young men on their outstanding athletic and academic careers as well as their leadership to the men's soccer program. These young men have had solid careers not only athletically but academically as well. The University would like to wish each of them all the best of luck in their future endeavors and hope that even after graduation that they come back and visit us often. They will always be a Yellow Jacket for Life (YJ4L).

 

 

Begin is an international business major from Springfield, Massachusetts and a graduate of Ludlow High School. He is a forward that will earn his second varsity letter this fall. In his career, Begin has appeared in 18 games and made one start. He is the son of Mike and Gillian Begin of Springfield.

 

 

 

 

  

Lambert is a finance major from Baden, Pennsylvania and a graduate of Ambridge High School. He is a midfielder that will earn his first varsity letter this fall. In his career, Lambert has appeared in 14 games and made one start. He is son of Bob and Patti Jo Lambert of Baden.

 

 

  

   

 

Nagy Jr. is an accounting and finance double major from Lakewood, Ohio, and a graduate of Lakewood High School. He is a midfielder that will earn his fourth varsity letter this fall. In his career, Nagy has appeared in 62 games and made 53 starts and has scored four goals, including two game winners, and added five assists for 13 total points. He was named to the Spartan-Raven Classic All-Tournament team in 2018. Off the field, he is a two-time Academic All-OAC performer, a Dean's List student, a Jacket Scholar and a member of the Chi Alpha Sigma Honor Society. Nagy is the son of Attila, Sr. and Mary Lou Nagy of Lakewood.

 

 

 

  

 Petri is a sport management major from Toronto, Ontario, CANADA and a graduate of Senator O'Connor High School. He is a forward that will earn his first varsity letter this fall. In his career, Petri has appeared in four games and made one start. He is the son of John and Maria Petri of Toronto.

 

 

 

 

  

Watkins is a business management and innovation major from Munster, Indiana and a grad­uate of Munster High School. He is a defender that has earned two varsity letters. In his career, Watkins has appeared in 33 games and made 29 starts and has scored two goals for a total of four points. He is the son of Geoff and Mary Watkins of Munster.

 

 

   

 

 

Fore is a sport management major from Bedford, Ohio and a graduate of Bedford High School. He is completing his fourth year as a student assistant coach this fall. Fore is the son of Darrell and Diane McClendon of Beford.
