Men's Golf Placed Sixth at Mount Union Fall Invitational

ALLIANCE, Ohio - The Baldwin Wallace University men's golf team placed sixth at Mount Union Fall Invitational at Tannenhauf Golf Club.  

BW finished sixth of 12 teams with 311 strokes on the par-72 and 6,694-yard Tannenhauf layout. John Carroll University takes home the win with a total of 296 strokes.

The Invitational was suppose to be a two-day event but was shorten due to rain.

The top five leading BW:

  • Junior Christian Miller (North Lawrence / Tuslaw) tied 11th and tallied a round of 76
  • Senior Academic All-Ohio Athletic Conference selection Henry Neumann (Broadview Heights / Padua Franciscan) tied 15th and carded a round of 77 
  • Senior All-OAC and Academic All-OAC selection Logan Bratsch (Olmsted Falls) tied 20th and had a round of 78
  • Junior Alex Baker (Pittsburgh, Pa. / North Hills) tied 42nd and tallied round of 80
  • Junior All-OAC Ryan Green (Conneaut / Edgewood) also tied 42nd and carded a round of 80

Playing as individuals:

  • Junior  Trevor Mackey  (Brunswick) tied 31st and tallied a round of 79
  • Freshman Zach Hritz (Columbia Station / Columbia) tied 62nd and carded a round of 88
  • Sophomore Logan Cook (Berea / Berea-Midpark) placed 67th and had a round of 91
  • Freshman Daniel Crane (Commercial Point / Teays Valley) tied 71st and tallied a round of 94

The Yellow Jackets are back in action on Monday, September 26 when they travel to Shaker Heights for the John DiCillo Memorial Invitational at Shaker Country Club hosted by John Carroll.
