Three Men’s Basketball Athletes Receive All-OAC Honors

WESTERVILLE, Ohio – Three Baldwin Wallace University men's basketball student athletes have received All-Ohio Athletic Conference honors.

Junior Academic All-OAC guard Anthony Mazzeo (North Canton/Massillon Jackson) was named to the first team. Meanwhile, junior guard Jake Snyder (Akron/Archbishop Hoban) and sophomore guard Drew Wennes (Huron) were selected as honorable mentions.

Mazzeo earns his second straight All-OAC honors after being selected to the first team this season. Mazzeo finished the season with 468 points, 118 rebounds, 65 assists and 26 steals. He averaged 18.7 points per game, 4.7 rebounds per game and 2.6 assists per game. In his career, Mazzeo has scored 849 points, grabbed 230 board, dished out 100 assists and has 39 steals. Off the court, Mazzeo has earned Academic All-OAC honors and is a Jacket Scholar and Dean's List student.

Snyder receives his first All-OAC honors as he was an honorable mention. He scored 357 points, 100 rebounds, 84 assists and 31 steals.  Snyder averaged 14.3 points, 4.0 rebounds, 3.36 assists and 1.24 steals. Snyder has scored 523 points, grabbed 180 rebounds, dished out 113 assists and has 50 steals in his career

Wennes was selected to the All-OAC roster for the second consecutive season, as he is an honorable mention. He scored 328 points, 102 rebounds, 18 assists and 21 steals. Wennes averaged 13.7 points, 4.3 rebounds, 0.72 assists and 0.84 steals. In his career, he has scored 446 points, grabbed 136 boards, has 27 assists and 24 steals. Off the court, Wennes is a Dean's List student and Jacket Scholar.

BW finished the season in the OAC semifinals with a 15-10 record and a 9-7 mark in the OAC.
