Kate Latkovic

Kate Latkovic enters her first season as the head women's volleyball coach at Baldwin Wallace University in 2024.

Latkovic comes to BW after serving the past nine seasons as the head volleyball coach at local St. Joseph Academy. She is no stranger to Berea as she served as an assistant coach for the Yellow Jackets during the 2007 and 2008 seasons.

While at St. Joseph Academy, Latkovic had a career record of 175-57.  She led the Jaguars to seven district championships, four regional championships and an Ohio High School Athletic Association Division I State Runner-up in 2017.  Latkovic was a three-time American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) Coaches Award recipient and a two-time OHSAA District Coach of the Year Award winner. Off the court, her players maintained a 3.8 grade point average.

Latkovic was also the Junior Olympic Volleyball Club Coach for Cleveland Volleyball Company and Toledo Premier Volleyball from 2000-15.  She also served as an assistant coach for NCAA Division I Cleveland State University for two seasons.

Latkovic earned a Bachelor of Arts in sports management from the University of Toledo and an associate degree in Adolescent Education from Owens Community College

Latkovic and her husband, Pete, reside in North Olmsted with their three children, Pete, Lucas and Drew.
