BEREA, Ohio – Baldwin Wallace University first-year Head Volleyball Coach Scott Carter is proud to announce his inaugural schedule. Carter and the Yellow Jacket volleyball team open the 2015 season on Tuesday, September 1 with a non-conference road match at Adrian (Mich.) College.
The schedule features four tournaments highlighted by the 17th annual Marcia French Memorial Tournament on September 11 and 12 on the campuses of BW and Case Western Reserve University. The Yellow Jackets will also compete in the La Roche (Pa.) College Tournament on September 4 and 5, the Susquehanna (Pa.) University Hampton Inn Crusader Classic on September 18 and 19 and the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference (HCAC)/Ohio Athletic Conference (OAC) Challenge hosted by Muskingum University on September 25 and 26.
BW remains on the road for non-conference matches against Oberlin College on September 9, Franciscan University on September 14 and Case Western Reserve on September 23 before hosting its first home dual match when it opens OAC play on Saturday, October 3 versus Muskingum.
The Yellow Jackets also have home league matches against the University of Mount Union on Tuesday, October 13, cross-town rival John Carroll University on Tuesday, October 20 and will close the home schedule with a Seniors' and Parents' Day match against Otterbein University on October 24.
The OAC Tournament is slated for November 3-7.
BW finished the 2014 season with a mark of 15-15 overall and a 3-6 record in league play.
