DELAWARE, Ohio – The Baldwin Wallace University women's outdoor track and field team used six All-Ohio performances toward a top-10 finish in the All-Ohio Outdoor Championships, hosted by Ohio Wesleyan University at the George Gauthier Track.

The BW women finished fifth of 19 teams with 71.5 points and Oberlin College took home the team title with 124 points.

The women distance runners had a successful meet, bringing home four separate All-Ohio honors. Sophomore All-OAC distance runner Kelly Brennan (Akron/Walsh Jesuit) earned two separate All-Ohio honors as she won the 800-meter run in 2:18.50 and was the runner-up in the 1,500-meter run in a time of 4:40.61, bringing her career All-Ohio total up to three. Nemeth just missed out on All-Ohio honors in the 200-meter dash as she took fourth in a career-best time of 25.58 seconds, running under 26 seconds for the first time in her career. In her first collegiate 10,000-meter event, freshman distance runner Lizzy Gilreath (Mentor) placed fifth in a time of 42:27.63.

Out in the field, sophomore All-OAC thrower Brooke Buckhannon (Collins/Western Reserve) earned All-Ohio honors in the hammer throw with a second place finish, tossing 165'7" to improve on her career best by almost 10 feet. Senior thrower Madison Phillips (Norwalk/St. Paul) placed fourth in the javelin throw with a career-best mark of 108'3".

In relay action, the 4x100-meter relay team of freshman distance runner Rebecca Penrose (Springfield/Shawnee), Nemeth, senior sprinter Carlynn Arthur (Danville) and freshman sprinter Ky'leana Allen (Columbus/Bishop Hartley) placed seventh in a time of 51.03 seconds.
