Kasper to Compete at NCAA Outdoor Track and Field National Championships

BEREA, Ohio – Baldwin Wallace University senior All-Ohio Athletic Conference jumper Erin Kasper (Amherst/Marion Steele) will compete at the 2017 NCAA Division III Outdoor Track and Field National Championships hosted by the University of Mount Union at the Spire Institute in Geneva.

Kasper qualifies for the outdoor national meet for the second straight year with a career-best mark of five feet and seven inches in the high jump, which ranks tied for 11th in the nation. At the 2016 NCAA Indoor National Championships, she earned All-American honors in the high jump as a part of BW's national championship team. In her career, Kasper is a two-time All-OAC honoree in outdoors and a three-time All-OAC honoree in indoors. She was an All-Great Lakes Region selection in indoors and outdoors this year. In addition, Kasper was a College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA) Academic All-American third-team selection in 2016.

Kasper competes on Friday, May 26 at 10:30 a.m. in their respective events.
