Kasper Garners First Career OAC Women’s Indoor Field Athlete of the Week Accolade

BEREA, Ohio – Baldwin Wallace University junior All-Ohio Athletic Conference jumper Erin Kasper (Amherst/Marion Steele) has been named the OAC Women's Indoor Field Athlete of the Week for her efforts at the season opening OAC North Split Meet hosted by the University of Mount Union in the Peterson Fieldhouse.

Kasper, who earns her first career OAC weekly honor, won one event and was a runner-up in another last Friday.  She won the high jump with a career-best leap of five feet and five and a quarter inches and was the runner-up in the long jump with a career-best mark of 17'5.25".  Kasper's mark in the high jump is tied for sixth in the nation.

The Yellow Jacket men's and women's indoor track and field teams are back in action this Friday, January 29 when they host the annual Mid-January Meet on the Harrison Dillard Track inside the Lou Higgins Center Fieldhouse at 4 p.m.
